Welcome to A Charitable Cause

Preamble:

In our Singapore context, the following opinions could
consistently be heard that:

l) Families love to shop and generally have a lot of extras
to give away but do not necessarily know who to give to.

2) FIN or a Family-in-Need could do with the extras like
clothes, books, toys and household appliances, but do
not have the means to buy them.

Aim of this Charitable Cause:

To match a needy Family(FIN) with a BeFriending one(BF),
preferably when both comprise similar number of family
members and children of about the same age, with the
purpose of introducing them for extended assistance.

Benefits:

BF is happy to assist, knowing who the recipients are.

FIN can look forward to another form of community support.

As the saying goes: A friend in need is a friend in deed.

Friendship among the families can thus be fostered, especially
when matched families happen to differ in race and culture.
Additionally, this bonding would promote understanding and
better relationships among our multi-faceted communities.

Also, being kind and caring is the natural courtesy extended
among friends and people are more inclined to give to those
they know than to a stranger or persons unknown.

Your role:

If this cause appeals to you, you are kindly invited to join
and be part of it. You may know of any family who is in need;
one where the children have limited toys to play with or even
a single mother who would like to have someone to talk to.

You may be doing them a favour by sending an email to this

contact by one of our members.

We are a group of more fortunate Singaporeans who have jobs,
good health and a passion to make a small difference in the
lives of those who may need what we have to offer. If you
share our mission to provide some form of support to our
